The
one and a half acres of garden is enclosed with walls of local stone and
entered by gates and a driveway to the house. The setting is exceptionally
peaceful and private with no near neighbours, but not isolated. As
you stroll through the garden the views of the Luberon hills and valley
that unfold from all parts of it are simply stunning. The garden is cultivated
with flowering shrubs, beds of lavender as well as groves of olive and
Cypress trees. Underfoot there are numerous wild flowers and herbs. Near
the house are flowering shrubs and beds of lavender. There are two adjoining 'Bories' in the garden. They are rough dry stone huts whose origins date back thousands of years and were probably used by shepherds. |
