One of the biggest pleasures of being in Provence is the exceptional quality of the food and the friendliness of the shopkeepers. There are markets on almost every day of the week in different places round about! The Gordes market is on Tuesday morning. There's a large market in Apt on Saturday morning which has all the above plus flowers, clothes and shoes. There's a lady who makes and sells beautiful children's dresses in an assortment of Provencal fabrics (she also visits the Gordes Market in season). Sunday morning is the Coustellet market which is very popular with the locals. There's also a very popular and, by all accounts, overpriced antiques market in Isle sur la Sorgue on Sunday mornings. There is a market in Chateauneuf du Pape on Friday and Cavaillon on Monday.
