Being vegetarian we're not, unfortunately, great connoisseurs of the numerous local restaurants! However, we like very much a restaurant in Maubec called La Bergerie. It's in a lovely position near the church and overlooking a field of vines and the valley beyond. They offer provencal cuisine and excellent wood-fired pizza There are only 3 or 4 tables outside so it's a good idea to book. Tel: 04 90 76 83 95. They're really accommodating with children and there's a small children's playground just across the road. Closed Sunday.

Pizza, fish & meat – also truffles. Very good restaurant with friendly service. Spectacular view from terrace.

Very close to La Clarté. Lunchtime menu 28€. Evening 45€. Fabulous food and setting – in summer you cansit in courtyard. Will do vegetarian dishes on request

Small bistrot style restaurant serving Provencal style food of good quality in an intimate environment – suitable for families – also has a terrace. Wine list is excellent.
